Since 1998 Holm Electric, Inc., has been a leader in home automation and luxury home entertainment systems. We are seeking an experienced AV/Low Voltage/Home Automation Technician. This role involves working directly with customers and peers to install, integrate, operate, and maintain various systems. Experience in high-end custom residential installations is required. Responsibilities:

Install low voltage systems, including cabling, equipment, and components.
Document and install cable plant designs for complex Audio/Video and IT projects.
Install and troubleshoot network components like switches, routers, and wireless access points.
Integrate and program home automation control systems.
Support, troubleshoot, and repair equipment and networks.

Requirements:

Experience with building and lacing AV and network racks.
Understanding of audio, alarm, fire, lighting systems, and home automation, or the ability to learn.
Proficiency in installing and troubleshooting network components (switches, routers, wireless access points).
Experience in custom residential system integration and setup is a plus.
Familiarity with Savant, ELAN, RTI, Crestron, Lutron, AMX, or similar programming is a plus.
Strong customer service skills, including the ability to educate clients and maintain positive relationships.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Compensation: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
